Ibanez Mandolin Serial Numbers • I768008

Another 523 showing the plain black headstock overlay (as opposed to the 524's tortoise material) and block inlay fingerboard. This particular example is stamped "2" below the serial number, apparently a factory second, and the only one in the database like that so far. It suffers from a severe case of binding rot, which did affect many older Ibanez mandolins.
